COMMISSIONER DISTRICT ONE UNOPPOSED
During the qualifying period held in December 2025 for the March 10, 2026 Municipal Election, David Tagliarini (Incumbent) was the only candidate who applied and qualified for Commissioner District One to have his name placed on the ballot for that race. Although David Tagliarini may be unopposed and his name not on the ballot, he is not considered elected to a new two (2) year term until the election has been held. Unopposed candidates are deemed to have voted for themselves on election day.
ELECTION RESULTS
In accordance with City Charter, Section 3.4. E, any candidate receiving the highest number of votes cast in the election for the Commissioner District Two office shall be elected to the office. In case of equal votes, such persons shall draw lots to determine who shall be elected to the Commissioner District Two office.
POLLING LOCATIONS
For the March 10, 2026 Municipal Election, the polls will open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and the polling locations for the City of Madeira Beach voters to vote in the Election are as follows:
• Precinct 415 - Madeira Beach Municipal Building, City Centre Room, 300 Municipal Drive, Madeira Beach, Florida;
• Precinct 301 – Calvary Church Seminole (Combined), 6155 113 Street, Seminole, Florida 33772.
CANVASSING BOARD
The Pinellas County Canvassing Board is the Canvassing Board for the City of Madeira Beach to canvass the results of this Municipal Election on Tuesday, March 10, 2026. Location: Election Service Center, 13001 Starkey Road, Largo 33773.
INDUCTION INTO OFFICE
In accordance with City Charter Section 4.8, the first meeting of each newly elected member of the Board of Commissioners for induction into office shall be at a Board of Commissioners meeting to be held on or before the last day of the month in which the election was held. Both Commissioner District One and Commissioner District Two will take the Oath of Office at this meeting, at which time they will begin their two-year term in office. This meeting has not yet been scheduled.
