Posted on September 26, 2024

Barrier Island Access Cut Off 6PM-

Access to the barrier islands and gulf beaches is anticipated to be cut off around 6 p.m. If your road is not flooded and it is safe to leave, NOW IS YOUR LAST CHANCE to evacuate. If you do not leave, first responders may not be able to get to you for hours in severe storm conditions. Turn off the breakers when you leave. If your road is already flooded, don’t try to get out. Shelter in place in the highest spot inside your home. This map reflects the latest forecasts from the National Hurricane Center – waters will continuously rise over the next several hours reaching up to 8 feet in parts of Zone A: https://pinellas-egis.maps.arcgis.com/apps/instant/sidebar/index.html?appid=7c47f1ae3d214946bc89a327ca87481b&fbclid=IwY2xjawFirBRleHRuA2FlbQIxMAABHfn7VADlFEPLMV1FH6myiSypeRcD0znZD7j3UVb24ux_cSyNk9Ia54woGA_aem_19C_4-fvoD0eRAvNC1eH4w
