Elevation Certificates and Flood Insurance Rate Maps
The most recent Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM) for Madeira Beach went into effect August 2021. If you think the flood zone identified by your insurance agent is in question, please contact the City.
The City of Madeira Beach is the community's primary source of information regarding Flood Insurance Rate Maps. Since all of Madeira Beach is in a Special Flood Hazard Area, it is important to know the base flood elevation of the property and the flood insurance purchase requirements, if applicable. The City of Madeira Beach also has copies of the elevation certificates for many of the structures in the community.
