Subtropical Storm Nicole is reminding us hurricane season is not over yet!
While we are a few days away from knowing the impact in our area now is a good time to look over your supplies.
Sand Bags:
Still have sand bags from Hurricane Ian? They can still be used if they were not wet and stored in a dry place. If you need bags we have them at City Hall, you will then need to head over to the Public Works yard to fill them up. The sand bag station will be open today until Wednesday 8am to 6pm.
Emergency Passes:
If you got a pass during Hurricane Ian your emergency pass is still good. If you are in need of an emergency pass please head to City Hall Monday to Wednesday 8am to 4:30pm. We will need to see:
  • Madeira Beach ID
  • 2 passes per household/business (not per property)
  • Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office will make the call on when to shut down bridge operations as well as opening it back up for residents
    • *AT THIS TIME THERE IS NO PLAN OF EVACUATION OR CLOSING OF THE TOM STUART CAUSEWAY*
