Kemp’s Ridley and Loggerhead turtles make Madeira Beach their temporary home during May to October. These turtles are considered endangered which is why it is so important for us to keep our distance and help them thrive.

The Sea Turtle season starts May 1st and ends October 31st each year.
Current lighting regulations requires you to turn off outdoor lighting at sunset. This also includes being able to see indoor lighting from the beach. Please use your blinds to block indoor lighting after sunset.
