How do I set up water services?

Water services for the city of Madeira Beach, including potable drinking water, reclaimed (non-potable) water used for irrigation and sanitary sewer is provided and and billed through Pinellas County. For more information about county provided water services please the Pinellas County website.  

Who takes care of the turtle nests?

Clearwater Marine Aquarium will check the beaches every morning for signs of new nests, nesting staff mark the nests and rope them off to avoid human disturbance. What types of turtles make nests in Madeira Beach?

Kemp’s Ridley and Loggerhead turtles make Madeira Beach their temporary home during May to October. These turtles are considered endangered which is why it is so important for us to keep our distance and help them thrive.

Whom do I contact to report problems about streets?

The Public Works Department maintains all streets except State-maintained Gulf Boulevard and 150th Avenue (Tom Stuart/Welch/Madeira Beach Causeway). To report problems with any City street, contact the Public Works at 727-543-8154. To report any problem on the two State-maintained streets, contact the Department of Transportation at (727) 570-5101.
