The City of Madeira Beach is now is in recovery mode following Hurricanes Helene and Milton. While it will take some time to rebuild, we are here to help! Click here to look all updates related to the hurricanes and the recovery efforts.

• Open Permitting Hours: 
  • Location: City Hall Commission Chamber, 2nd floor- 300 Municipal Dr.
  • Day/Time: Every Wednesday- 11:00am to 2:30pm

• Substantial Damage Letters:
  View the Substantial Damage Letters here. We will continue to upload them as they are created. Received your letter and have questions? Stop by the open office hours listed above or email Planning@madeirabeachfl.gov.

• Building Permit Extension Request:
  The City of Madeira Beach Board of Commissioners has allowed residents to submit the following form as intent to proceed with rebuilding without permit fees. To qualify for waived permit fees owner must be the same as September 26th, 2024. If ownership has changed hands or extension waiver has not been signed by September 26th, 2025, permit fees will apply!
  *REMINDER- Work without a permit will result in 5 times the permit amount. A permit must be applied for even if permit fees are waived.
